Circa £28000+ 2-3k Bonus


My client is a multiple award-winning producer of investment conferences & digital dialogues for Africa’s energy sectors. producing region-specific investment meetings focusing on the power generation potential of some of the world’s most exciting emerging markets.


Duties & Responsibilities

Support the production team through excellent administration and organisational skills to deliver the Africa portfolio of events taking place throughout the year, including the flagship conference.


• Support the production team to plan and deliver other smaller regional conferences/events through excellent administrative and organisational support.

• Communicate in a professional and timely manner with confirmed speakers to help them get organised for their participation, this will include liaising with government ministers, high level government officials and C-suite individuals.

• Connect with all confirmed speakers to send them information on the conferences/events and help them prepare for their speaking role, this will involve getting speakers registered and sending them event materials to action.

• Use returned registration information to build accurate records on the speaker database, to help deliver the events smoothly and to high standards.

• Take responsibility and ownership of keeping the website constantly updated with agenda and speaker details.

• Support (and where needed lead) additional projects related to the conferences/events including networking sessions, fund raising events and targeted workshops.


Key Skills Required

• Must have an understanding and passion to deliver high quality work through strong administration and organisational skills.

• Strong project management skills.

• Must have an eye for detail.

• Strong ability to engage people over the phone and in person.

• Confident and is able to build rapport and lasting relationships with senior level players, including, CEOs government representatives and ministers.

• Be able to work with the team to deliver the event to high standards on the day.

• Should be able to work calmly under pressure and tight time deadlines.

• Excellent team player.

• Experience working in Africa and an energy sector would be an advantage but not essential.

• Must be available to travel to events when needed.
